Lyon secured another 1-0 win over Grasshoppers to progress 2-0 overall. Basel were 3-0 up against Maccabi Tel Aviv but the Israelis fought back to level at 3-3. The Swiss side progressed 4-3 overall.
Steaua Bucharest, Fenerbahce, Slovenia’s Maribor, Bulgarian side Ludogorets and Shakhtyor IK of Kazakhstan also progressed on Tuesday night to the final play off round.
