Robben was key in Holland’s run to the World Cup final, but he was not fully fit and suffered a thigh injury as a result. Bayern have claimed that it was the fault of the Holland team, and chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said that they are closing in on an agreement.
“I am cautiously optimistic that we can reach agreement without going up in court. We have agreed to meet again in the near future.”
