“We have the next five or six weeks to see whether anything can be done.” Klinsmann explained.
“We definitely want to be back on top of the table by Christmas. The board and I meet every week for discussions and of course names are mentioned- it is quite understandable.”
Bayern have few alternatives beside Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski up front.
“It is a tricky situation.”, Klinsmann continued. ““To go into the season with just three strikers isn’t ideal. We have alternatives in Franck Ribery and Tim Borowski, who can both play in an advanced role.
“And we know that we can play a different system, such as the 4-5-1, but we are always on the lookout for players.”
