The 22-year-old’s current contract at City is set to expire in the summer of 2015, but Munich newspaper the Muenchner Merkur has claimed Boateng has agreed to join Bayern this summer.
“It’s not correct that we’ve already agreed terms. We’re keeping tabs on him, but that’s difficult now because of his injury,” Bayern Munich’s director of football Christian Nerlinger told the Merkur.
