The 25-year-old joined Bayern Munich from Schalke in a €18million deal this summer.
“I’m looking forward to the Schalke game. It will give me a chance to see my old colleagues and friends. It’s going to be an interesting match for me,” he told the Bundesliga’s official website.

“I think some people might applaud when I enter the field though. Some people will understand my decision. At the end of the day, I’m entitled to pursue my own career.”
