Bellamy told the Daily Star: “I hesitate to mention myself in the same sentence as somebody as brilliant as Thierry Henry, but he is a fantastic example.
“He scores lots of goals himself, but he also sets them up for other people.
“If someone is in a better position than him to score a goal, he’s completely unselfish and won’t think twice about playing the pass to make it happen.
“I’ve always been proud of the fact that I get a good number of assists as well as goals, and I think anybody should work on the basis that football is a team game first and foremost.”
