He said: “It’s a really good club and I’ve made a really good choice coming here.
“It’s probably because I knew a lot of people at the club and I knew what I was coming into. Touch wood, hopefully I’ll finish my career here.
“Maybe because of the surgery I had as a very young player, it might not take me to 34 or 35.
“So these five years are going to be very important for me. I can cement my name here. Hopefully with a few better performances I will have a good chance of doing that.”
