Lille have confirmed they have received an offer from Benfica for the highly-rated left-back.
“Benfica presented an offer about four or five days ago for the acquisition of Emerson,” Lille technical advisor Jean Michel Vandamme told Maisfutebol.
Benfica are looking ot bring in Emerson as a replacement for Fabio Coentrao, who joined Real Madrid earlier in the summer.
