Benitez has been rewarded for signing his new five-year contract on Wednesday.
Liverpool’s American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett has pledged £20million in fresh investment.
Benitez will also keep all the money he raises from sales, including the £12million from the sale of Robbie Keane to Tottenham in January.
