Reports have suggested that the Argentine coach was poised to resign.
“I will continue carrying out my work as I have done up to now,” he said in a statement.
“I maintain the commitment that I made to the club.”
Bielsa’s current contract with Bilbao is set to expire at the end of the coming season.
