The duo are out of contract with Blackburn at the end of season and Big Sam has admitted his frustration over the ongoing contract talks.
“It is almost a year we have been trying to sort out Junior’s deal and that is no nearer completion,” he said in The Sun.
“Morten might drag on to be the same which would be very frustrating. We don’t know what is ours and what is not.
“We will keep on trying and hopefully Junior and Morten will sign on for us.
“The world we live in means everyone knows their value and if you can’t pay the going rate, they’ll try to find somewhere else.”
He added: “We’ll find out in the next week or two if Morten will commit.”
