Pedersen believes Ince can guide Rovers away from danger.
He told the Daily Telegraph: “He’s there every day. Everyone is different. Paul Ince knows his football.
“He’s been with big clubs and uses that experience. Wigan is a derby game, so we’re going to be up for that.
“If we can get a win, that could be a turning point for us.”
