Cathcart felt his side’s performance against Spurs was their best display this season.
“It’s a massive three points for us,” the centre-half told the club’s official website.
“Tottenham are in the Champions League this season and are a top side in this division so it’s unbelievable.
“They put a lot of pressure on us but we defended well collectively and I think we deserved it in the end because of our togetherness.
“Collectively, I think it could be our best performance of the season considering the results that we’ve been having and the fact we scored three goals at home.”
