The Mirror reports that Boca Juniors were considering making a move for Tevez in an emergency loan deal, but have had to admit defeat as they cannot afford the striker’s £250,000-a-week salary.
Boca Juniors would need Tevez to accept a massive pay cut or City to subsidise his salary, but both options seems highly unlikely.
Another Tevez’s former clubs, Corinthians, are reportedly ready to renew their interest in the striker in the January transfer window.
Juventus and AC Milan are also reportedly preparing January bids for the striker.
