Tomasz Zdebel gave Bochum the lead but former Midtjylland striker Mohamed Zidan managed to hit one back for Dortmund.
“We looked very good in the first half,” said Koller. “We were compact and agressive, but then got sucker-punched by the equaliser.
“After the break Dortmund managed to keep us under pressure. So, considering the differing themes of each halves, I think a draw was the fairest result.”
