The 22-year-old is keen to prove himself at Eastlands, after struggling with injuries during his time at the club.
“At the moment I am not thinking of moving back to Italy as I have immense aspirations to prove myself at Manchester,” he told the Italian press.
“I feel much better as I have started training with a ball, but I miss the game rhythm.
“At the moment, the team are positioned below expectations, but I am sure that my team-mates know very well what is expected from all of us and I believe things will soon move in the right direction.”
