Bologna lost 2-1 against Inter in the Serie A on Saturday.
Arrigoni said: “Clearly it pleased me that the club publicly backed me, but I am fully aware that in my line of work it isn’t easy to stay in your job when losing five on the trot. I am ready for anything.
“It is only normal that our approach is increasingly timid, as I dare anyone to dive into a match after five straight defeats. We just need that one result to turn the tide.”
He continued: “When you go behind and have nothing left to lose, clearly your attitude changes. When coming to San Siro against Inter, if you don’t score then you won’t get any points.
“You cannot always put in the performance you want to and the Nerazzurri were maintaining the pressure on us.”
He added: “I know we have tough games coming up, but I have been a player and a Coach, so I know sometimes the wind can change in a moment. All I can do is keep the confidence high within the squad and look to the future.”
