The 22-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the German side and joins the club from Club Brugge for a fee of around €5million.
“[Perisic] is a guy like Michael Ballack, only much faster than the [Bayer] Leverkusen player. He can play in a standard 4-2-3-1 on the left or central behind the striker. Perisic has the advantage that he can play deep and bring the ball out,” Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc told Kicker.
