The 22-year-old has been a hit for Borussia Dortmund this season after joining the club from J-League side Cerezo Osaka last summer.
Kagawa’s current contract is set to expire in 2013 and Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc has revealed the club are keen for the young midfielder to sign a contract extension.
“That would be stupid not to do,” Zorc told Kicker.
