Gradel joined the Cherries from French side St-Etienne over the summer.
The highly-rated forward sustained the injury during Saturday’s home draw with Leicester.
Gradel will now undergo surgery to repair the damage.
Bournemouth is also awaiting further news on a knee injury sustained by Tyrone Mings. Mings also sustained the injury in the clash with Leicester.
