The 35-year-old, who joined Juventus from Parma in a €51million deal in 2001, insists he wants to finish his playing career at Juventus.
He told reporters: “I’ll finish my career at Juventus. As long as they don’t get tired of me I don’t think I’ll leave Juve.”
Buffon made several impressives saves for Italy in Friday’s 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Bulgaria.
“I don’t know which [save] was the most difficult. As a degree of difficulty they were similar stops. I’m happy, but I don’t think this is the first time in 135 games I’ve done something good,” he said.
