The Old Firm has been linked with a move to the England and a possible new two-tier Premier League.
“For Scotland, I would like our two biggest and best clubs to be involved in Scottish football,” the manager said.
“Rangers and Celtic have their own angles, which is down to them, but any English scenario would take a long time. A second Premier League is not going to happen overnight.”
