Cahill has impressed in recent months and has been linked with clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, he said: “I’m an ambitious lad who wants to play at the top of my game. Who knows what the future holds?
“At this minute I am concentrating on playing well for Bolton but hopefully I will play for a top club one day.”
Cahill added: “It’s flattering that teams are looking at you but you have to keep performing well.”
