Gerets confirmed today that he will quit his job as Marseille coach this summer after not being offered a new deal.
“Most of the players suspected it, this is nothing new to us,” Cana told Aujourd’hui Sport.
“Anyway, we are very proud and happy to have worked with him. We have to respect his personal choice.
“It won’t disturb us at all. On the contrary, we would like to offer him the title at the end of the season.”
