Capel was linked with a move to Tottenham when Juande Ramos was in charge at White Hart Lane.
“A reunion is remaining between all the counterparts, but we all stand in the same way,” he said.
“I am just asking for what I deserve. I am giving my all to the club and I am hopeful they are going to value it. I would be delighted to spend many years here.
“I am hopeful we will reach a solution shortly.”
