The Three Lions moved a step closer to World CUp qualification with their win at Wembley.
Capello said: “I think it was good, we were very strong.
“When you play a team that is not strong you must start quickly, press and win back the ball and we did that.
“We didn’t start well against Andorra last time, but step by step, game by game we are improving.”
Wayne Rooney and Jermain Defoe scored twice each and Frank Lampard and Peter Crouch scored the other goals for England.
Capello added: “We had two chances even before Rooney scored the opener.
“We have created a group. This is important, the spirit of the group. We always play to win and we have improved in every game.”
