Bothroyd has been strongly linked with a move to Newcastle United.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season.
Jones told the South Wales Echo: “We’ll have Jay back next week against Watford at home and that’s great for the team.
“We will not be selling any of our key players.
“Jay has been offered a new contract. That’s all we can do.
“It’s his decision whether to accept it, but he is under contract for the rest of this season.”
