After Mario Balotelli’s move to Man City this week, Cassano had been earmarked to fill the void left by the 20 year old at Inter.
“Inter are not weakened, because they have so many champions. But Italian football will be missing an important player,” the 28-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport regarding Balotelli.
“For me, the chances (of joining Inter) are zero. If the president Riccardo Garrone believes differently, I don’t know.
“I want to finish my career here. At Samp I’m fine, I feel like a king. The most important thing in life is happiness and here I have found it.”
