AC Milan are reportedly keen to bring in Lopez as a replacement for Antonio Cassano, who is set to undergo minor heart surgery.
“I am tranquil, but it would please me if in future there is a chance to join one of the biggest clubs in Europe,” Maxi Lopez told Sky Sport Italia.
“I want to say thank you for the way Milan are thinking about me. They have so many great players in the squad. But, for now I am thinking about my work with Catania. We will see what happens in January.”
