Napoli have made a superb start to the season, and are top of Serie A, with Cavani netting a hat trick in their 3-1 win over AC Milan at the weekend.
However, they were unable to win at Manchester City in the Champions League, being forced to settle for just a 1-1 draw.
Cavani has been linked with Barcelona and said to Radio Marca: “I am thrilled that a coach as recognised as Guardiola speaks about me.
“I’m proud, but now I’m just thinking about my team.”
