Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Cavani has signed a deal that will keep him at Napoli until the summer of 2016.
Cavani joined Napoli from Palermo on a one-year loan deal last summer, but the move will become permanent this summer for a reported €16million fee.
The new deal will see Cavani earn €2million per year at Napoli.
