Celta are currently second-bottom of the standings following their 3-1 loss against Real Sociedad last weekend and have four points up to Athletic Bilbao and safety.
Carnero said: “They can say that I am being audacious but I think we have possibilities and we need to fight. We have nine points to play for.
“I want to dream about the chance of winning on Sunday.
He added: “With 39 points we could be safe, other teams have difficult fixture lists and in football anything can happen.”
