Gomez has impressed while on loan to Championship side Swansea this season.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said: “I don’t know what Jordi is worth if Celtic or anyone else is interested in him. He’s not our player so I wouldn’t expect to know. But if there is a chance of him leaving Espanyol, we would pursue every angle to bring him to Swansea City.”
