The 22-year-old has impressed for Celtic and first-team coach Alan Thompson insists they are determined to keep the midfielder at the club.
“I think there has been well-documented interest in the lad and rightly so, he is a terrific player with a massive future but not one we are looking to get out the door,” Thompson told Sky Sports.
“We don’t want any of our better players leaving.”
