Ljungberg have joined Celtic on a free transfer as his contract with Chicago Fire has expired.
The 33-year-old has been training with Celtic over the past few days and passed a medical with The Bhoys on Thursday.
Ljungberg will be presented as a Celtic player at a press conference on Friday morning.
