The 29-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Scottish giants.
Kazim-Richards has also played for Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Bursaspor.
Kazim-Richards has made nearly 40 international appearances for Turkey.
The forward is Celtic’s second transfer deadline day signing, joining winger Patrick Roberts, who has joined the club on an 18-month loan deal from Manchester City.
