Nakamura has also been offered a new contract by current club Celtic.
Nakamura has reached an agreement with the J-League club and will sign a deal that will keep him at the club for two years and eight months.
“I’m not allowed to go into detail about the discussion process, but the initial talks (with Yokohama) were very positive and we are moving in the right direction,” his agent Robert Takuda told the local press.
