The 22-year-old has been linked with a loan move away from Parkhead in recent weeks after failing to make an impact since joining the Hoops last summer.
“I was very surprised to hear this rumour. I went to train, then I had a sleep in the afternoon. When I woke up, my phone was ringing like crazy,” he told the Daily Record.
“Even my dad phoned to ask what was happening about Brescia.
“I am absolutely not aware of any transfer to Italy. I remain at Celtic.”
