Reed told Sky Sports News: “I think we deserved it, we played very, very well tonight, worked very, very hard and the fans got behind us.
“We got the ball in their box and around their box from some very good creative football and I think it would have been rough justice if we hadn’t won the game.
“When you are down at the bottom, things usually go against you, as at Sheffield United, and maybe the fact it has happened for us in the last couple of minutes will be a turning point of the season.
“We needed a boost in confidence for the lads and hopefully we can turn our season round from this point.
“I’m not guaranteeing it, but there is a lot more confidence in that dressing room now as they know how well they can play.”
