The Blues managed a 1-0 win in Porto, following a goal by Nicolas Anelka.
Ancelotti told Sky Sports: “The most important thing is to reach the objective, it was important to be top of the list and get a good draw in the future.
“The game was good, to win here is not easy but we had a good match, a good result and a good victory, so we are happy.
“The Champions League is our aim for the future. We have played very well in this group and we have to focus on the Premier League now.”
