Terry will be able to play in England’s crunch Euro qualifiers against Israel and Russia at Wembley next month, says The Sun.
The England hardman could also be able to play for Chelsea at Liverpool next weekend.
A Chelsea source revealed to The Sun: “John’s injury is not quite as bad as we first thought.
“It’s still early in the recovery process but it has responded very well to treatment. He is naturally fit so once the ligament is repaired he will be able to play straight away — hopefully that will be at Anfield.”
