“Whenever you come away to a fellow Premiership side and you actually beat them 4-0 on their own soil, then it is a very satisfying evening indeed,” he told Sky Sports News.
“The lads played some exceptional football and, apart from the opening 20 minutes, I don’t think we were put under too much pressure. After that we controlled the game and played some really good football.
“We kept a steady spine throughout the side but it was nice to bring the younger guys on later on.
“Every game we play, the boys want to win, they just want to win matches.”
