Chelsea’s global scouting network has reportedly been instructed to find a younger replacement for Lampard, as Abramovich continued his dismantling of the club’s ageing squad, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The Blues signed Fernando Torres from Liverpool and David Luiz from Benfica for a total of £74million in the January transfer window.
Torres was brough in as a direct replacement for Didier Drogba while Luiz is expected to replace Terry.
