Chelsea are ready to increase their offer for Brighton star Moises Caicedo in an late attempt to beat Liverpool.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp have confirmed that they have had an bid for Caicedo accepted by the Seagulls.
The bid is reportedly a British record £111million and the Reds are hoping to complete the signing as quickly as possible.
But The Guardian now reports that Chelsea have not given up their pursuit of Caicedo and are ready to increase their bid to more than £110million.
Chelsea had an £100million bid for Caicedo rejected on Thursday night.
Liverpool are hoping to sort out personal terms with Caicedo today, but the midfielder is still in London and could be waiting on Chelsea to make their move.
