Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins has revealed that manager Carlo Ancelotti has granted Terry a short leave of absence to sort out his personal life.
“John has been given a few days leave by Carlo and he will not play on Saturday,” Wilkins told Sky Sports.
“He will come back and prepare for our game against Wolves on the 20th.
“They just had a little chat, John and Carlo, and decided that would be the best for all concerned.”
