Drogba revealed to The People on Sunday, that he is in regular touch with the French side and thier special adviser Bernard Lacombe.
Drogba said: “I have kept up very good relations with Bernard Lacombe since they wanted to take me two years ago.
“We do talk to each other. We get on well as strikers.”
Chelsea hope that his new contract offer, will persuade the in-form striker to stay at Stamford Bridge.
