Lampard said: “Paul Ince is a bit of a mate of mine and I texted him straight after the draw was made.
“I’ve got a feeling he’s going to try to get himself fit for it because he’s said he’s going to give me a good kicking.
“We’ve had too many difficult away draws in the Carling Cup and it really is important to get a home draw. It makes a lot of difference.
“It is good to miss an Arsenal versus Liverpool type of game, but we will certainly respect Macclesfield and Incey.”
