He said: “I want to play regularly. It’s the most important thing because I’m coming up 28.”
He added: “The easy part was coming back from injury, it’s more difficult getting in the team.
“I’ve just got to prove I’m worth a contract or show prospective employers I can still play.
“I’d like to think I can still do a job in the Premiership. I’ve scored goals at this level and my injuries haven’t changed anything.”
