Cole played a major part of the legendary Arsenal team who won the title in the 2003-04 season unbeaten.
He said: “I think this could be another version of the invincibles.
“When you go to Liverpool, you know it’s going to be tough and any team which goes there will come away happy with a point.
“We showed a great team spirit and the passion and fight we need.
“Fighting spirit wins you titles. I had it at Arsenal and we’ve definitely got it here.”
