Coleman said: “It’s up to Claus now. He’s been here for three seasons and has been plagued by injuries so we haven’t seen the best of him.
“I had great hopes for him when he joined and he is a quality player.
“But he is saying he is now 100 per cent fit so when he gets his chance it’s down to him.
“His contract is up at the end of the season and whether he stays depends on how well he does.
“He’s been unlucky because he has struggled to put 10 games together since he joined.”
